Brad Bowden

Associate Vice President of Business Development at QualiZeal

Brad Bowden has spent more than 15 years working with companies that need better software quality, stronger testing practices, and more reliable delivery. His career has focused on quality engineering, digital transformation, enterprise business development, and long-term client relationships. Brad works with leadership teams to understand business goals before recommending technology solutions. His approach is based on practical execution, clear communication, and helping clients reduce risk while improving confidence in software releases.

Brad currently serves as Associate Vice President of Business Development at QualiZeal. In this role, he works to grow the company’s enterprise customer base and build relationships with large organizations. Through direct outreach, focused relationship development, and disciplined execution, he has helped secure several Fortune 1000 customers. His work has also supported QualiZeal’s stronger position in the region. He begins client conversations by asking what outcomes the business wants to achieve, then connects quality engineering to those goals through specific solutions tied to risk, speed, feedback, and release confidence.

Brad previously served as Senior Director of Business Development at Cigniti Technologies. During his time there, the company expanded its global reputation and became recognized as a leading quality engineering firm. Brad supported commercial growth in the United States, with particular focus on the Southeast. He was responsible for helping secure several Fortune 500 accounts and building enterprise relationships that supported long-term market growth.

Brad’s responsibilities extended beyond winning new clients. He worked to identify strategic accounts, build executive-level trust, and align delivery capabilities with client needs. He also stayed engaged after contracts were signed, helping maintain accountability and support the relationship over time. This approach helped clients see him as more than a sales leader. It showed his focus on delivery, follow-through, and long-term partnership.

Brad also served as Head of Sales for the U.S. consulting business at QualityKiosk Technologies. In that role, he focused on increasing market penetration and building enterprise consulting partnerships. Earlier, he held sales leadership roles at two consulting firms that were later acquired. These experiences helped him understand how technology service companies expand, how distributed delivery teams operate, and where service execution can become difficult. They also helped shape his view that leaders must keep sales promises aligned with delivery results.

Brad Bowden has kept quality engineering at the center of his professional work for many years. He has seen how weak testing practices can slow releases, create customer frustration, and hurt revenue. He has also seen how disciplined quality practices can protect a company’s brand, accelerate innovation, and help teams release software with greater confidence.

Brad understands that artificial intelligence has changed the role of quality engineering. He believes companies cannot scale AI securely without mastering AI quality engineering and using AI to improve quality engineering itself. For him, this is not a vague trend. It is a practical requirement for companies that want to adopt AI responsibly while keeping risk under control.

Brad believes AI-driven quality engineering can help teams identify gaps that may be difficult to find manually at scale. He does not view AI as a replacement for skilled professionals. Instead, he sees it as a tool that can support teams by improving speed, coverage, and insight. His perspective connects software quality with business confidence, customer trust, and safer innovation. This view helps him speak with clients about modern testing needs in a way that links technology decisions to business value.

Colleagues know Brad as competitive, determined, approachable, and willing to help when pressure rises. He is also known for his sense of humor and for caring about the success of his teams and clients. When challenges appear, he moves toward resolution without unnecessary drama. His reputation has been built on consistent follow-through, direct communication, and a practical approach to problem-solving.

Brad has also invested time in the broader technology community. Since 2017, he has served on the Board of Directors for the Technology Association of Georgia. Through this role, he supports collaboration across the technology sector and helps strengthen the regional technology ecosystem. His service reflects his belief that industries grow stronger when leaders share knowledge, support professional connection, and contribute beyond their own companies.

Brad has also participated in initiatives connected to the Data Governance Society. These efforts have focused on responsible data usage and stronger awareness of data leadership. In 2024, he received the Technology Association of Georgia Impact Award for his support of the Data Governance Society. This recognition reflected his continued interest in thoughtful data practices and his support for responsible technology leadership in the region.

Brad also volunteers with Women in Technology, where he supports greater representation and opportunity in the technology field. His volunteer service reflects a broader view of leadership. He believes strong industries depend on collaboration, mentoring, and common standards. His involvement shows that his commitment to technology includes helping others find stronger pathways into the field.

Brad remains active in the Atlanta community through work tied to education, digital access, and civic responsibility. He serves as a Digital Champion with Inspiredu Atlanta, an organization focused on improving digital access and literacy for families across Georgia. In this role, he supports efforts to reduce the digital divide and create stronger pathways into STEM-centered careers.
